My name is Kristin King, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new school counselor at Hilltop Elementary. I am truly excited to join the Argyle ISD family and look forward to supporting our students, staff, and community.
This year marks my 6th year as a school counselor and my 19th year in education. Prior to becoming a counselor, I had the privilege of teaching 4th grade ESL, 1st grade Dual Language, and STEM in Lewisville ISD.
School counseling is my passion, and I believe strongly in the power of building trusting relationships. At Hilltop, I will be working with students individually and in small groups, as well as delivering meaningful guidance lessons to all classrooms. I also look forward to collaborating closely with teachers and families to provide the resources and support our students need to thrive both academically and personally.
It is my commitment to encourage, support, and empower every Hilltop student to become the very best version of themselves. I am truly looking forward to an incredible year ahead!
